Orton-Gillingham Tutoring in a small group environment

Trained tutors go into schools during the day

We enjoy the partnerships we have with schools. The schools choose the four (4) students that we will work with in each group. Once we assess each student and confirm groupings we start tutoring them with a goal of having 20-25 sessions per semester. In sessions we utilize Orton-Gillingham lessons to teach the students how to read and write, building off their existing skills. The Orton-Gillingham approach gives us the flexibility to teach students what they do not know and to scaffold review of what is already known. We follow the school calendar for start and end times as well as breaks/vacation.
