Established in 1990, Camp Delafield was the first program conducted by DII. Camp Delafield provides both a rigorous academic program and a diverse arts and recreational program.

A Typical Day at Camp Delafield
Morning Academics
One-on-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring
Individualized lessons to address specific learning needs
Daily small groups focused on reading comprehension, written expression, and mathematics
Workshops by Theater of Inclusion in conflict resolution, social skills, and goal setting.
Orton-Gillingham: Camp Delafield utilizes the Orton-Gillingham approach to tutoring: clinically proven teaching strategies that build upon each student’s life skills to make life-changing improvements. Each lesson’s success determines the next lesson’s content. Orton-Gillingham is rooted in decades of neurological, psychological, and educational research kept current through continual refinement. It is proven effective and well-respected in schools and clinics throughout the state of Indiana.
Camp Tuition: $2,400. 10% is due upon acceptance. The remaining amount is due one month prior to your camp session.
